realization

as i scan my friends' list on facebook, and checking some of those that i have added but do not really know, i have come to realize something.

maybe being a music lover doesn't necessarily mean you love 'music'. i mean, yeah you may say you 'love' music, you love listening to it, it's your life, yada yada yada yada... maybe it's something more.

as i discover myself as an artist, a, okay, music lover, and a musician, i have come to realize that being a true artist and someone that appreciates music and write songs are different. i cannot really explain for i am still in the process of discovering it but i am, and i do so hope, nearly there. you give more effort in being an artist, and it's something you cannot name yourself right away.

being an artist doesn't necessarily mean you make art, or you act, or you sing, or whatever. for me, it's when you feel that you have accomplished something that you can be proud of, and not afraid to show it to the world. your work is worth sharing, and in terms of sharing, i still need to improve on that.

well so much for that, i'll now go back to finishing my world literature paper.
